Indian Valley residents told to conserve water for fire suppression efforts

The Indian Valley Community Services District declared a water emergency today due to drought and the current fire situation, and told its customers to refrain from non-essential water use to keep water levels sufficient for fire suppression.

It’s good advice for all residents of Plumas County.
