It’s back! Sierra Timberfest 2022 set for Saturday, May 14 in Loyalton

After 22 years, the Sierra Timberfest is back! The East Sierra Valley Chamber of Commerce has sponsored the 2022 Sierra Timberfest on Saturday, May 14 in downtown Loyalton. The event will open with a Freedom Parade at 10 a.m. featuring historic and state of the art logging vehicles. The Logging Show will begin at 11 a.m. and run into the afternoon.

This event has been sanctioned by the American Lumberjacks Association (ALA), with all contestants required to be members of the ALA. Organizers anticipate attendees and competitors to attend from across the Pacific Northwest.

There will be barbecue, beverages and activities for kids, and the whole family is invited for a fun time.
