Jan. 18: Plumas Public Health shares latest numbers

According to the latest information posted by the Plumas County Public Health Agency today Jan. 18, there have been 116 COVID cases reported during the last 7 days, with 181 individuals in isolation, and three people hospitalized.

Plumas Unified School District reported 81 cases last week.

Public Health is now posting the information on the Plumas County Public Health Agency website, rather than using its former process with twice weekly maps.

Public Health received 600 over-the-counter at-home tests that were being distributed free of charge to the public last week; all have been claimed. Another 3,000 are expected this week.
