Jan. 20: PUSD reports 22 cases today
Plumas Unified School District reported 22 new cases this evening, Jan. 20. This follows 15 cases reported yesterday, and 66 cases on Jan. 18.
The new cases are broken down as follows:
- Chester Elementary School – 1 case
- Chester High School – 1 case
- Greenville Elementary, Taylorsville campus (closed due to COVID cases)
- Quincy Elementary school Pioneer campus – 3 cases
- Quincy Elementary School Alder campus – 3 cases
- Quincy JS High School – 5 cases
- C. Roy Carmichael Elementary in Portola – 4 cases
- Portola JS High School – 4 cases
- District Office – 1 case
The Plumas County Public Health Agency is conducting the contact tracing and investigation in conjunction with district nursing staff. Impacted staff will be contacted by Public Health or by PUSD.
