Jan. 27: Plumas reports just 2 new cases

The Plumas County Public Health Agency announced this afternoon, Jan. 27, that there are two newly confirmed coronavirus cases.

The total confirmed coronavirus number of cases in the county is now 620 with 57 active cases, and five deaths to date.

Today the Public Health Agency brought an information portal online for Plumas County residents to sign up to be notified when it’s their turn to receive a vaccine. The site can be accessed here

Following is the breakdown of the most recent announced cases:

One resident from the Norther Region (Greenville/Indian Valley)

One resident from the Southern Region (Quincy/American Valley)

Contact tracing is underway and if an exposed resident is identified during the investigation, the resident will be contacted by a member of the Public Health COVID-19 Response Team for further screening.
