Junior fishing derby returns to Graeagle Mill Pond on Saturday, May 21

The annual Graeagle Millpond Juniors fishing derby is set for another year of fun, with the event kicking off on Saturday, May 21 at 8 a.m. Every spring, Feather River Trout Unlimited (FRTU) sponsors a fishing derby and outdoor experience for young children and their families.

A limited amount of free equipment is available. If you have your own fishing equipment, please bring it with you.

The pond has been stocked by the California Department of Fish & Wildlife, and many thanks go to local fisheries expert Amber Mouser from FRTU.
