Emma Kingdon is running for the 2019 Silver Buckle Rodeo queen. The rodeo takes place over the fourth of July weekend at the arena located in the center of Indian Valley.

“I love the idea that I get to represent my hometown and my favorite rodeo,” said Kingdon. “Becoming our rodeo queen would be amazing due to the fact that it will make me a second generation Taylorsville queen in our family, following my mom’s footsteps.”

The Queen’s horsemanship contest took place June 21 just ahead of the first of three in the Summer Series for the Indian Valley Riding and Roping Club.

“She did good,” said Misty Banchio, IVRRC president and Queen coordinator.
