Local post offices impacted by winter storms and outages
The U.S. Postal Service notified Plumas News that several post offices in the following counties remain impacted by severe winter storms impeding access to postal facilities and delivery routes: Nevada, Plumas, Sierra, Butte and Siskiyou. They include:

Grass Valley
Nevada City
Quincy
Canyon Dam
Greenville
Alleghany
Camptonville
Downieville
Goodyears Bar
Washington
Forks Of Salmon
Cedar Ridge
Stirling City
Sawyers Bar
Normal retail and delivery operations will resume in impacted offices once power and access are restored.
