Lost Sierra Bike Team welcomes new members; sets May 21 fundraiser

Lost Sierra Bike Team welcomes all kids in Plumas County who are in grades 6-12. Team members have a ton of fun out on our local trails building skills, fitness, confidence, making friends, traveling to races, and volunteering during trail maintenance days. One of the team’s main goals is to provide all kids in Plumas County the opportunity to experience their backyard in a new, fun way and become part of the mountain bike community. We work hard to raise funds to be able to provide bikes, helmets, and all required gear for any rider who needs it, provide quality training for our team of coaches, cover registration and race fees for riders as needed, and provide transportation options for riders to get to practices, races, and other events.

This season we have 39 riders from Portola to Chester and everywhere in between and a team of 22 coaches!

End this year’s Bike to Work week by coming out to support the local mountain bike team! The Brewing Lair is generously donating a portion of all proceeds to the team. In addition we will have team merchandise for sale and a raffle with some awesome prizes!
