Louise E. Hammar
On Friday, December 15, 2022, Louise E. Hammar passed away peacefully in her sleep in Quincy, CA. She was 88 yrs old. She was born in Concord, Massachusetts, to Helena and Gerry Lawrence.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Hammar, who passed away in 1998, and her grandson Rory in 2014.
Her love for her God Jehovah moved her to share her faith all her life, and the beautiful hope of a resurrection recorded in the Bible at Acts 24:15 “And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous.”
Louise loved her family & was dearly loved. She filled the home with life, laughter, music, art of all kinds, delicious meals and lots of fun. She liked to hike, swim, camp, garden, sew, do needlework, knit beautiful sweaters, read adventure stories and loved all animals.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Kim and Robin, and her daughter Holly, along with 7 grandchildren: Heidi, Amy, Jenny, Krista, Tami, Tanya and Shelby and 7 great-grandchildren: Treyton, Aubrianna, Oliver, Esme, Ledger, Raja and Zimri.
Memorial services are yet to be arranged.
