Luminaries on display at Bear Creek Frames in Quincy
Bear Creek Frames is again featuring local artisans as guest artists in the front window at 367 Main Street Quincy.
Trisha Aitken is the Artisan of the Month for May. She says about her art, “The Luminary story. I have the best friends, they give me odd things and I keep them for years (the odd things!)…. untill one day the bottles of glue from Jill, the photo of crocheted lamps from Kelly, and that box of vintage lace from someone I can’t remember, all knock on my creative head and…..Luminaries are created!”
She added, “These delicate lace, dollies, crocheted by hand lanterns each contain a small LED fairy light. They twinkle softly at dark and hang with whimsy in the day.” From the kitchen table fiber art studio at Trisha Aitken’s house…always a new project and sometimes dinner is served up.
New hours at Bear Creek Frames are Tuesday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
