Measure A results tonight
Measure A ballots will be counted tonight with the results posted at approximately 8:30 p.m. by the Plumas County Elections office. Registers voters in the Quincy Fire Protection District are being asked to approve a $96 parcel tax to help fund the volunteer fire department. The measure requires a two-thirds “yes” vote to pass. Ballots must be postmarked by today, March 6, and will be counted for the next three days as they arrive at the courthouse. Tonight’s results will be preliminary.
