Menu selected for Summerfest

Food boss Jay Hendrick will supervise the serving crew at Summerfest.

The 10th annual Summerfest will be held July 7. Each year the volunteers of the Mohawk Valley Stewardship Council offer a food menu of heroic proportions.

This year the ranch barbecue will offer grilled burgers with all the fixings, Robert’s famous vegetarian beans, fresh fruit and chips and assorted homemade desserts. In addition there will be a first ever no host margarita bar, along with select wines and beers from the Brewing Lair and Sierra Nevada.

Summerfest is an annual fundraiser to benefit the restoration of the historic White Sulphur Springs Ranch. The Ranch came into existence in 1852. In 1858 it served as a stagecoach stop along the Truckee Quincy road.

The Ranch overlooks the beautiful Mohawk Valley on Highway 89.

In addition to the food, the crowd will be entertained by Dave Stamey and the Black Irish Band. Performances start at 4 p.m.  Gates open at 3 p.m. Summerfest is always an outdoor event so attendees should bring a lawn chair but no pets please.

Tickets are $50 per adult available online at WhiteSulphurSpringsRanch.com and at Eco Centric in downtown Graeagle. Only $15 for children 12 and under on line or at the door. For more information go to the website or call 530-836-2530.
