Next Dancing in the Dirt event is July 12
It was a fine evening at the first Dancing in the Dirt event at Rugged Roots Farm stand June 14. Participants enjoyed music by Night Brain, kids activities, fresh veggies from the farm, and warm vibes from the community.
This event was the first in a series of Tuesday evening farm stands at Rugged Roots until Oct. 4. Other events include cooking classes, Wild Mountain Herbal Collective demonstrations, and a variety of children’s activities.
The next Dancing in the Dirt is a Contra Dance with caller Leslie Mink and will take place next Tuesday, July 12, from 5-7 p.m. As always, fresh local produce will be for sale. The farm is located in Quincy off of Highway 70 across from Gansner Air Field.
