Nov. 11: Plumas announces 7 new cases today

Yesterday it was five new cases and today it’s seven.

The Plumas County Public Health Agency announced today that it received notification of seven positive COVID-19 test results bringing the total to 119. There are now 34 active cases in the county.

Today’s cases include two residents in the Eastern Region (Graeagle/ Portola), three residents from the Southern Region (Quincy/American Valley) and two residents from the Western Region (Lake Almanor/Chester).

Some of the new positive residents are related to already identified positive residents and some of the other new positive residents are related to employment outside of the county. If an exposed resident is identified during the investigation, the resident will be contacted by a member of the Public Health COVID-19 Response Team for further screening.
