Nov. 12: Plumas reports nine new COVID cases today
The Plumas County Public Health Agency announced this evening that it received notification of nine positive COVID-19 test results bringing the total case count to 128. There are 32 active cases.
The new cases are two residents in the Eastern Region (Graeagle/ Portola); four residents from the Southern Region (Quincy/American Valley); two residents from the Western Region (Lake Almanor/Chester); and one resident from the Northern Region (Indian Valley).
Some of the new positive individuals are related to already identified positive residents. If an exposed resident is identified during the investigation, the resident will be contacted by a member of the Public Health COVID-19 Response Team for further screening.
