Nov. 5: Plumas announces four more cases – 3 Eastern Plumas and 1 in American Valley

The Plumas County Public Health Agency announced this afternoon that it received notification of four positive COVID-19 test results today, Nov. 5.

There are three residents reported from the Eastern Region (Portola/Graeagle). Two are residents from the same household, another is an unrelated resident.

There is one resident from the Southern Region (American Valley/Quincy.)

The contact tracing investigation has started for all the positive residents. It is unknown at this time if the positive residents are connected to any prior positive individuals. If an exposed resident is identified during the investigation, the resident will be contacted by a member of the Public Health COVID-19 Response Team for further screening.

This brings the total number of cases for the week to 9, and year to date to 94; 20 are active
