Overturned
An 18-wheeler hauling a load of gypsum seen after overturning in the serpentine section of the Feather River Canyon about a mile west of Rush Creek Road on Feb. 17 at 3:30 p.m. The driver was injured in the crash. A doctor and nurse happened to be on the scene and administered aid until emergency responders arrived. The overturned truck completely blocked the westbound lane and further delays were expected as the wreckage was cleared and the white powder could be confirmed to be non-toxic. Photo by Will Farris
