Plumas Arts is pleased to announce a gallery opening reception this Friday, July 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. at 525 Main St. in Quincy.
For the month of July, the Plumas Arts Gallery will be displaying art from Seamas Gallagher, raised here in Quincy. He always had a love of drawing, and has been able to pursue a career in art. He has been working as a concept artist in video games for almost 15 years, and currently he work for Firaxis Games, based in Baltimore, MD. His job as a concept artist is to provide visuals for an art director for any given project, working within a set of parameters. These visual tasks range from characters, creatures, weapons, or environments. He enjoys fantasy and sci-fi subject matter the most, and tends to gravitate towards those genres in his own personal work.
