Plumas Bank promotes Marshall to Vice President, Risk Management

A woman who began her career at Plumas Bank at age 18 has steadily worked her way through various positions and is now Vice President, Risk Management, as well as a recognized authority on bank security.

Marshall began her career at Plumas Bank 20 years ago as a statement clerk. Since then, she has held positions in data processing, operations and in 2010 the Risk Management department.

In 2016 she was named the Corporate Security Officer for the Bank and in 2017 she was promoted to Assistant Vice President.  In 2018 she became the department manager of Risk Management. In her role, Marshall is responsible for identifying, assessing, and managing Plumas Bank’s operational, financial, and strategic risks. She also ensures Plumas Bank has a strong compliance posture and that all regulatory requirements are maintained and incorporated into the organizational culture.

A northern California native, Marshall made Quincy her home in 1994. She is a nationally recognized authority and speaker on bank security. Marshall obtained her Associates Degree in Criminal Justice from Feather River College in 2018 and is a 2022 graduate of Colorado State University-Global with a degree in Organizational Leadership. She also holds professional certificates in Bank Compliance, Bank Secrecy Act/Anti Money Laundering (BSA/AML), and Bank Protection & Security.  She enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, and spending time with her family and dogs.
