Plumas Charter offers day camp to its student on Quincy campuses
With school delayed for two weeks, Plumas Charter School opened its Quincy locations for an enrichment day camp model available to all of its students. The camp opened Monday, Aug. 23 and will run through next Friday, Sept. 3.
The sites are open from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., and include breakfast and lunch. Youth can participate in art, PE, and games, as well as team building and a variety of other activities. Approximately 60 students from the Quincy, Greenville and Indian Valley Academy programs are participating. “It’s going awesome, and it’s so nice to have kids back,” said Taletha Washburn, the charter school executive director.
