Plumas District Hospital welcomes first baby of 2021

The first baby delivered at Plumas District Hospital in 2021 is Eva Rae Rucker of Quincy. She arrived on Jan. 5 at 8:45 a.m.
Eva’s parents are Audrey and Todd Rucker of Quincy and she joins three siblings: Leah, 11; Janora, 5; and Rilee, 2.
Eva weighed 6 pounds, 12.5 ounces, and was 19.5 inches in length.
Maternal grandparents are Barbara Bruner and Dusty Miller of Quincy and her great grandfather is Bill Thompson of Oroville.
As is tradition, the first baby received a gift basket assembled by nursing staff at the hospital. This year’s basket included gifts from Crescent Country, Forest Stationers, Quincy Pharmacy.
