The total number of cases in Plumas County now totals 2,146, with 66 individuals in isolation. The county has a 10.8 percent positivity rate.

Public Health Director Dana Loomis said that the site will be updated every Thursday by 5 p.m. So COVID numbers, barring any extraordinary circumstance, will be posted weekly. Initially, the health agency posted daily, then reverted to Mondays and Thursdays. The last posting was Dec. 20.

The web dashboard is based on data from the state’s CalREDIE reporting system and includes detailed statistics on cases and rates by age, county region and vaccination status. Public Health will no longer be sending case updates or regional maps via e-mail or social media; all relevant COVID-19 statistics will be available on the dashboard on the county’s COVID-19 website.  The dashboard is currently updated every Thursday by 5 p.m.
