Plumas residents participate in anti-vaccine mandate protest

In response to a nationwide call for a school walk-out to protest COVID-19 vaccine mandates in the schools, participants turned out in Portola and Quincy on Monday morning, Oct. 18.

Portola participants chose a street corner on Highway 70 through town, while participants in Quincy chose the Main Street corner near the Plumas Unified School District offices.

On a chilly morning Oct. 18, participants joined counterparts across the nation in staging a protest for mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations in the school. Photo submitted
