Plumas Sierra internet services down in some areas UPDATED

UPDATED 5 p.m.: As of approximately 4:30 p.m., PST has restored internet services. Repairs will continue throughout the evening, according to PST.

UPDATED 2:30 p.m.: According to someone familiar with the issue regarding PST internet service, the main feed was severed impacting customers from Bordertown, to Susanville to Quincy. Estimated restoration is 4 p.m.

Experiencing an internet disruption? You are not alone. Plumas Sierra Telecommunications customers are experiencing an outage in the Quincy and Eastern Plumas areas.

PST is aware of the problem and is sending crews to the first reported outage near Johnsville.
