Plumas Unified School District Superintendent Bill Roderick announced this morning, Jan. 5, that all schools will be on a two-hour delay this morning. “Due to deteriorating weather conditions and developing chain controls, we will have a two-hour delayed start to monitor the situation,” read a statement. More information is expected by 8 a.m. Roderick said that while Quincy is receiving only rain at this time, the roads leading into the area are deteriorating and are expected to get worse.
