Plumas Unified reports one new case – 171 cases to date

Plumas Unified School District announced 1 more positive case of COVID-19 today, Oct. 29 — resulting in a four-day total of 20 cases. Today’s case was from the Alder Street campus of Quincy Elementary School.

There were 27 active cases in the school district this week, with a total of 171 cases to date. Quincy High School has been the hardest hit with 69 cases, which represents approximately 20 percent of the student body.

The district is working with the Public Health Agency to contact trace and notify those who could be impacted.
