Portola blood drive looking for volunteers

To think that the few minutes one gives up to donate blood will help someone is truly an awesome feeling.
The Portola blood drive is scheduled Friday, Oct. 11, from 2 to 6 p.m., at the Catholic Community Hall, 100 South Pine St., in Portola.
The Eastern Plumas Hospital Auxiliary is sponsoring this blood drive in coordination with Vitalent out of Reno.
