Power out? You’re not alone
The power went out this evening for a large swath of Plumas County — from Chilcoot to Quincy. Power has been restored to part of Quincy, but there are still customers without electricity in East Quincy. PG&E sent a notification that power is expected to be restored by 9 p.m.
Plumas Sierra Rural Electric indicates that nearly 8,000 of its customers are without power. The utility is aware of the issue and crews are working on it, but they have no estimated time for restoration.
