Preparations underway for Memorial Day celebration
Local attorney Robert J. Zernich and crew freshened the flower bed at the Quincy Veterans Memorial in Dame Shirley Plaza this past Saturday in preparation for the annual Memorial Day celebration. This will be the 18th year that Zernich has organized and presided over the event. The Memorial Day 2023 Ceremony is scheduled for Monday, May 29  at 10 a.m. Thanks to the many contributors to the event, but especially Grey’s Flower Garden for the plants, soil conditioners, and American Valley Hardware for the landscape bark.
