PSREC and East Quincy residents left in the dark – not part of the planned power outage
The lights dimmed off and on in Quincy, but for East Quincy and a large swath of the customers served by Plumas Sierra Rural Electric the lights went out about 8 a.m. this morning. These issues were not connected to PG&E’s Public Safety Power Shutoff.
Power has since been restored to PSREC customers, but East Quincy is waiting for PG&E to fix the problem. One East Quincy resident reported a blown transformer near their residence that is now being repaired. Plumas News is working to confirm that information with PG&E.
