PSREC asks members to conserve
As of 9:50 p.m. last night, Plumas Sierra Rural Electric restored power after a request from PG&E to drop the power load due to the Dixie Fire, and went onto backup from NV Energy. Today, Thursday, July 22, PSREC customers are being asked to please continue to conserve as much as possible to avoid rolling blackouts. “Every light and appliance turned off will help keep the power on for all members,” a statement from PSREC said. “Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.”
