PUSD and FRC provide COVID case updates
Plumas Unified School District has posted 12 new COVID cases thus far this week, with nine reported Feb. 14 and three reported today, Feb. 15. Feather River College also reported 1 case today.
The 12 cases reported by Plumas Unified breaks down as follows:
- C. Roy Carmichael Elementary in Portola – 4 cases
- Portola High School – 2 cases
- Chester High School – 6 cases
The Plumas County Public Health Agency is conducting the contact tracing and investigation in conjunction with district nursing staff. Impacted staff will be contacted by Public Health or by PUSD.
Feather River College reported just one case today involving a student who was a close contact of another positive case.
