PUSD, Plumas Charter announce school closures continue for March 1
Plumas Unified School District and Plumas Charter School announced this afternoon that there will be no school on Wednesday, March 1. Even though the blizzard warning concludes at 4 a.m., the roads and facilities are still snow-packed and hazardous.
Superintendent Bill Roderick said the cancellation decision was made so crews can clear campuses, roads and streets. “Student and staff safety is always our focus,” Roderick said.
Plumas News contacted Feather River College to see whether the campus will close as well. FRC was closed today, as were county offices. The information will be provided when it becomes available.
