Quincy classroom closed due to COVID cases
A first-grade classroom on the Pioneer campus of Quincy Elementary School will be closed this week beginning, Monday, Nov. 8., due to a small cluster of cases. Families were notified over the weekend, and Plumas Unified School Superintendent Terry Oestreich issued a broader announcement Sunday.
When asked about the cases, Oestreich said that two cases were reported on Friday, and the district learned of an additional two cases on Friday night from students in the same class. Students in the impacted class will work home and interact with their teacher via Zoom.
