Quincy elves working on some Christmas magic

A group of local elves — Cindy Lou Who, Ralphie, Scott Farcus, Buddy, Jovie and The Gingerbread Ma’am — are making it their mission to bring socially-distanced Christmas cheer to the good people of Plumas County. The year 2020 has been a real doozy, and although Christmas is not a year-round event (which the elves firmly believe it should be!) the elves have decided there is still much that could still be done in December.

This group of local elves retired from the North Pole last year. And, the elves knew they could live anywhere in the world. Costa Rica, WOW! The South of France? Super tempting. But, then the elves heard about Quincy — a town where generosity and kindness rule the day, every day. What kind of Christmas magic would emerge from a community like this? Then last year, the elves witnessed it — Sparkle! Although this beloved event will be different this year, the elves know that the Christmas Spirit lives in the hearts of the people — and if there is any town that can rise to Santa’s challenge of creativity and magic, well, Quincy is that town.

Are you a secret Quincy Christmas Elf too? If Christmas lights bring tears to your eyes, if you have a spreadsheet with the open dates of this year’s Netflix Christmas movies, if your spirit animal is a reindeer… you might ALREADY be a Quincy Christmas Elf! So, listen up — the good folks in Quincy are being called by Santa!

You can join the local elves by visiting their Facebook page (quincychristmas2020) and participating in three events in December. Want a special peek at what is being planned?
