Mary and Bob Edwards

Members of the Quincy Rotary Club and  guests  met at Greenhorn Ranch for a business social the evening of April 11. Greenhorn Ranch representative Steve Harvey  provided an update on Greenhorn Ranch and other operations, but the rest of the evening was set aside to honor Bob and Mary Edwards.

The Edwards began their insurance business in Quincy in 1960. Bob became been a Member of the Quincy Rotary Club in 1961 and has had perfect attendance for over 51 years.  Bob served Rotary in many roles including President, Rotary Foundation Chair, and many leadership roles with Rotary Youth Exchange and Rotary District 5190.

The Edwards are known for their commitment to Quincy. Bob was active in the Quincy Chamber of Commerce, a member of  the Board of Trustees for the Plumas County Museum, Feather River College Foundation and the Plumas District Hospital Foundation.  Mary Edwards has also devoted endless hours volunteering including ongoing leadership with  the Bargain Boutique which has a long history of supporting needs for Plumas District Hospital.     Those who know the Edwards will be the first to state that they are a team who has worked tirelessly to support so many.
