Quincy still being powered by generators

Heads up Quincy residents. There has been speculation that the recent power outages in the area are the result of PG&E resuming transmission through the Feather River Canyon – that is NOT the case.

PG&E confirmed this afternoon that Quincy’s two substations continue to be fed by the generators that were installed during the Dixie Fire. While PG&E had planned to revert to the canyon transmission lines, those plans were delayed when the weather forecast called for a series of winter storms.
