Rallin Orris Klundby
Rallin Orris Klundby began his journey to Heaven July 10, 1940, in Osseo, Wisconsin. He took his final step Home Oct. 22, 2021. He was 81 years old.
He was known to many as Pastor Ral, a title he wore proudly for 46 years. But he was many things over the years: Athlete, silo builder, deputy, forester, youth leader, private pilot, motorcycle rider, hunter, counselor, spelunker, ukulele player, fisherman extraordinaire, avid reader and seeker of spiritual knowledge. He was a great friend, a lover of life, and speaker of truth, even when it was unpopular. But his favorite title was husband to Susie. Married while still in high school to Susan Eckert, their love story was one of nearly 64 years.
Rallin is survived by his wife Susie; three daughters: Kelly Stevenson (Donnie), Kayna McGarr (Ron) and Erin Baker (Shane); five grandchildren: Tom Klundby, (Melissa), Leah Wherman (Lance), Tyler McGarr (Melonie), Laura Baker and Ashtin von Jouanne (Scott); and twelve great-grandchildren: Cade, Amirra Adelyn, Gavin, Tahlia, Gracie, Lincoln, Rylie, EilaGrae, Giavanna, Nevada and Abbie.
He was our pastor, husband, dad, grandpa, boppy and friend and he was our hero.
We will miss his full, abundant, adventurous spirit everyday until we are reunited Home.
Phil 4:8: “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things.”
A celebration of his life will be held Dec. 4, 2021, 2 p.m. at Sierra Christian Church, Beckwourth.
The family wishes any memorial contributions be made to Sierra Christian Church: missions.
