Rec district K-2 basketball clinic registrations wrapping up

The Central Plumas Recreation and Park District is wrapping up registration for its Basketball Clinic Series for kindergarten-second grade. The deadline to register is Tuesday, Jan. 7.
The clinic series is open to boys and girls in kindergarten through second grade, and is held every Tuesday night in Serpilio Hall at the Plumas-Sierra County Fairgrounds from 5:15 to 6 p.m., beginning Jan. 7 and ending Tuesday, Feb. 25. The deadline to register is Jan. 7and the cost of the program is $25.
Additionally, CPRPD is continuing to take registrations for its kindergarten-eighth grade Youth Wrestling Program.
The wrestling program also begins Jan. 7 and continues through early April. The program is perfect for both beginners and participants looking to further advance their wrestling skills. Practices are every Tuesday and Thursday in the Round Room at Quincy High School.
Kindergarten through third-graders practice from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m., while fourth- through eighth-graders practice from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The cost of the program is also $25.
