Recall ballots go out in the mail Aug. 16
Plumas County Clerk/Recorder Marcy DeMartile announced this morning that the California Gubernatorial Recall ballots will be mailed from the office’s printing company in Central California on Monday, Aug. 16 and will be mailed to the mailing address on the voter’s file.
Due to the evacuations that are in effect, DeMartile advises the voters in those areas of the following postal delivery changes:
Westwood Post Office mail: Can be picked up at:
Susanville Post Office
65 N. Lassen Street, Susanville
Monday – Friday 9 am – 1 pm and 2 pm – 4 pm
Chester Post Office mail: Can be picked up at:
Red Bluff Post Office
447 Walnut Street, Red Bluff
Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 4pm
Saturday 9 am – 12 pm
Twain Post Office
Canyon Dam Post Office
Greenville Post Office
Crescent Mills Post Office
Taylorsville Post Office mail: Can be picked up at :
Quincy Post Office
222 Lawrence Street, Quincy
Monday – Saturday 8:30am – 4pm
If a voter is not in the area, and unable to retrieve their mail at the options provided by the US Postal Service for the Plumas County facilities listed, they may contact our office at (530) 283-6256 or email [email protected] as to the other options available to receive their ballot for the Sept. 14, 2021 election.
