Registration for Youth Summer Art Program is now underway

Registration for Plumas Arts’ new Youth Summer Art Program opened today, May 26. “We are very excited to open this new opportunity to students countywide,” said Plumas Arts Executive Director Kara Rockett-Arsenault. “We are always looking for new ways to expand our county-wide programing, and this seemed the perfect next step.”

Plumas Arts’ most popular program is its Artists in the Schools program, which offers artist taught hands-on workshops to every K-6 classroom in Plumas County. Many students love these art classes and ask for classes outside of the school setting.

This year’s Youth Summer Art Program will kick off on July 10th and run once a week for five weeks.

Mondays classes will be held in Chester and Taylorsville. Chester Class location will be the Chester Memorial Hall- 225 Gay St. Chester, and Taylorsville Class location will be at Indian Valley Academy- 4352 Main St. Taylorsville (July 10, 17, 24, 31, Aug 7).
