Reminder: Property taxes due Dec. 10
This is a reminder that the first installment for Plumas County 2021-2022 property taxes becomes delinquent if not paid by Dec. 10.
The first installment of 2021 – 2022 taxes, were due and payable on Nov. 1, 2021 and will become delinquent if not paid in the office or postmarked by 5 p.m. on Dec. 10, 2021. The second installment is due on Feb. 1, 2022 and will become delinquent if not paid in the office or postmarked by 5 p.m. on April 10, 2022, thereafter a 10 percent penalty and a $20 cost will be added. Both installments may be paid when the first installment is due.
Payments may be made in the Tax Collector’s office, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, holidays excepted. Please be advised that to enter the courthouse you must pass through security. The drop box for all non-cash payments will be located outside the front entrance to the Courthouse on Main Street. There is also a drop box located outside the front door of the Tax Collector’s office. Payments can be mailed to P.O. Box 176, Quincy, CA 95971 or by credit card. To pay by credit card visit www.plumascounty.net/ttc. There will be a fee charged for this service as set by Point and Pay payment processing.
