Rotten to the core
There shouldn’t be any doubt this tree was having serious health issues. Smith Tree Services was busy Sunday, Jan. 19, falling and then moving one of the old trees within Dame Shirley Plaza across from the Plumas County Courthouse. Facility Services Director Kevin Correira brought the situation to the public’s attention last year saying that some of the trees were so old and damaged that they presented a safety issue to anyone in that area.
