Mark your calendars for holiday fun as the Santa Trains return to the Western Pacific Railroad Museum (WPRM) in Portola in the month of December.

All are invited to come aboard and ride the festive holiday train covered in twinkling lights, meet Santa and Mrs. Claus, and enjoy free homemade cookies, hot cider, coffee, and hot chocolate.

Rides will be offered on Saturday, December 3, followed by Friday, December 9 and Saturday, December 10, and another chance to ride on Friday, December 16 and Saturday, December 17.

Train rides will start at 5 p.m. and continue until everyone has had a chance to ride, usually until about 8 p.m.

For those who also wish to include a little more railroad related fun into their visit, the museum opens at 4 p.m.

Admission for the event is $10 per carload, or $5 per carload with 3 cans of non-perishable food for the local EPCAN food bank. For more information, visit online at https://santa.wplives.org.
