Sept. 13: Plumas announces 35 new cases

The Plumas County Public Health Agency announced this evening, Sept. 13, that there are 35 new cases to report. The health agency is posting positive test results twice a week — on Mondays and Thursdays. (Reporting was delayed last week due to the Labor Day holiday and on Thursday, Sept. 9, 74 cases were reported.)

The 35 cases reported today are as follows:

Eleven cases for the Southern Region (Quincy/Meadow Valley): Five confirmed on Sept. 10; and six confirmed today, Sept. 13.

Ten cases for the Eastern Region (Graeagle/Portola): Three confirmed on Sept. 10; and seven confirmed today, Sept. 13.

Six cases for the Western Region (Chester/Lake Almanor): Two confirmed on Sept. 10; and four confirmed today, Sept. 13.

Eight cases confirmed for the Northern Region (Greenville/Indian Valley): Five confirmed on Sept. 10; and three confirmed today, Sept. 13.

The total confirmed number of coronavirus cases in the county to date is 1,162. There have been 10 deaths.
