Upcoming forums for supervisor’s races

The League of Women Voters forum for the District 2’s supervisors race will take place at 7 p.m. tonight, Jan. 29, at the Greenville Town Hall behind the fire hall. The Long Valley Community Services District is sponsoring a forum on Tuesday, Feb. 4, at 6 p.m. at the Long Valley Fire Department in Cromberg.

District 2 is the geographically the largest District in Plumas County. It includes the communities of Cromberg, Sloat, Greenhorn Ranch, Chandler Road, Crescent Mills, Greenville, Twain, Storrie as well as other areas.

District 4 candidates Melissa Bishop, a certified nurse assistant, and Retired Plumas County Sheriff Gregory J. Hagwood will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan.  30, for the forum being held in the meeting room at the Plumas County Public Library, 445 Jackson St. in Quincy.

Supervisory District 4 is comprised of much of Quincy and includes Meadow Valley and Bucks Lake.
