Signs of spring!
One of the sheep at Tasty Acres recently gave birth to twins and another sheep rejected her little lamb right after it was born. With two mouths to feed, one mama sheep wasn’t producing enough milk for her twins so owner Juliette Williams of Quincy stepped in to feed. Making herself comfortable, Williams produced full bottles of formula and the lambs came running. The tan lamb is the one considered the bum lamb and gets the most to eat, Williams explained. Another ewe is due to give birth soon. Lambs around Quincy are a reminder that spring is coming. Photos by Victoria Metcalf
