With their iPhones at the ready, family members and friends cheered on prom goers from Plumas Charter School in Taylorsville on May 13 as they entered the dance floor.

With three learning centers across Plumas County, PCS alternates hosting the annual dance in Quincy and Indian Valley. This year, it was Indian Valley Academy’s student council’s turn to plan the event along with Mountain Valley Parents Club. They chose Foot of The Cross Farms as their venue for its beautiful views and downtown location.

The event included a DJ, appetizers and swag bags for each teen.  Approximately 50 students attended the party. PCS would like to thank all of the volunteers for making this event a success.
