Snow lessons

Kids strap on snowshoes, many of them for the first time, and learn about tree species, animal species and snowpack at Lassen National Park. Afterward, they enjoyed lunch at the visitor center and spent some free time in the snow. The Mt. Lassen field trip program is free for all interested schools.
